Next steps for a proposed Dermody Properties industrial project in Rancho Cordova aren't clear, after the City Council voted to deny approvals for LogistiCenter at Rancho Cordova earlier this week. At the same time, the council also voted to ask city staff to work with Reno-based Dermody on finding a more suitable location for the project, acknowledging strident neighbor opposition at its proposed site near an elementary school. "Dermody Properties is disappointed by the Rancho Cordova City Council's breach of the development agreement," George Condon, west region partner for Dermody, in an emailed statement.
