A man died Thursday evening in a solo vehicle crash in Sacramento County, officials said. The driver is believed to have been speeding before crashing. The California Highway Patrol said the crash was reported around 8:55 p.m. at Sunrise and Kiefer boulevards in Rancho Cordova.
